The Mental Studio was not created from theory alone, it was born from lived experience. It was
shaped through trauma, domestic violence, grief, parent–child resentment, abandonment and
rejection, betrayal, incarceration, and a near-death experience that forced me to confront life,
identity, and purpose at their deepest levels. I did not arrive here untouched. I arrived
transformed.
My healing was not confined to sitting on a couch, crying while someone observed and
documented my pain. My transformation happened in real time in the wilderness seasons of my
life where I was stripped of comfort, certainty, and false identities. It was there, with God,
disciplined self-practice, and psychological theory, that I began running my own series of self
case studies. I examined old behavioral patterns, challenged conditioned responses, and
confronted the versions of myself that were formed through survival rather than truth.
While I was still healing, I was guiding others. While I was still becoming, I was holding space for
others. I have walked alongside countless individuals through their darkest seasons helping
them find clarity, safety, and direction even as I was navigating my own. The impact has been
real. Lives have been changed. Cycles have been interrupted. Healing has begun.
The Mental Studio exists because I know what it means to survive and what it takes to become
whole. This space is my commitment to those who are ready to stop repeating patterns, stop
performing strength, and start healing inward with intention. I am fully committed to helping
more people do this work honestly, safely, and without rushing the process. I did it and so can
you now is the time.
